Henry Estate Winery is steeped in family tradition. Five generations of the Henry family have farmed the Umpqua Valley, and currently three generations run the estate. The Henrys have made Henry Estate Winery one of the best known Oregon wineries for Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, and White Riesling.
The winery is nestled in Southwest Oregon's Umpqua Valley next to the Umpqua River, where the climate and soil type are ideal for growing varietal grapes such as the pinot noir, pinot gris, chardonnay, white riesling and müller-thurgau. Located near the 45 th parallel, the Umpqua Valley climate is similar to the Burgundy region in France.
